Trinity County Crime Stoppers is part of a nation- and statewide program designed to help prevent or solve crime. Trinity County Crime Stoppers encourages members of our community to assist local law enforcement agencies in the fight against crime by overcoming the two key elements that inhibit community involvement: fear and apathy.
The day-to-day operations are performed by an all-volunteer civilian staff. All operating funds, less the funds we receive for reward payments, are generated locally by our organization. Those operating funds are then used to help train and equip local law enforcement, and to encourage use of the Tip Line through local advertising.
The Trinity County Crime Stoppers tip line number, listed above, can be used by local residents to call in any tips they may have regarding unlawful activity. Callers can remain anonymous, and are eligible to receive a cash reward if the information given leads to an arrest or grand jury indictment of a felony offender.
